The Third Annual Charity Extravaganza will be held this year on November 22nd and 23rd in Boca Raton.  Andy Roddick, currently ranked #1 in the world and the new 2003 US Open Champion, is hosting his personal charity weekend that includes an evening dinner dance/auction as well as a free kid’s zone and professional tennis exhibition.

This year’s festivities include a semi-formal dinner/dance with both live and silent auctions on Saturday evening, November 22nd at the Boca Raton Executive Country Club hosted by Andy Roddick and his family.

The Andy Roddick free kid’s zone starts at 11:30 A.M. on Sunday, November 23rd. The festivities kick-off with a variety of tennis games sponsored by USA Tennis Florida. In addition, the Andy Roddick Kid’s Zone has expanded with music, raffles, sumo wrestling, rock climbing, a bounce house, and other popular activities for children thanks to the support of the Pure Energy Entertainment Group.

The pro-celebrity exhibition, starring Andy and his friends begins Sunday at
1:00 pm in the FAU gymnasium with a world team tennis format starring Andy, Jim Courier, Aaron Krickstein, Mardy Fish, Sebastien Grosjean, Chris Evert and Brenda Schultz-McCarthy. The event concludes at 3:30 P.M. with a priceless chance to return Andy’s 149mph serve.

We are looking forward to an exciting weekend in 2003 as our plans include  additions for fun and growth that will enable us to aid our children’s charities and at the same time, allow us to offer a rain or shine guarantee throughout the weekend” said host, Andy Roddick.

Various sponsorships, reservations and donations are currently available. Dinner/dance tickets are $100 per person.  The tennis festival is priced as follows:  Tickets on the floor $50 each; Reserved tickets are $25 each; General seating is $10 each. Children are free under age eight when accompanied by a paid adult. All seating is limited by reservations and all events are expected to be “sold out” quickly.

All proceeds will benefit worthy children’s charities including the Kids in Distress Foundation, the Back to Basics Fund for Migrant Children and the Margaux’s Miracle Foundation. Check out the latest information on Andy’s official web-site and log on to
